Orlando Rosales

Orlando Rosales is preparing to enter his third professional season in the Houston Astros organization.  He was a 10th round draft pick of the Astros in 2006 out of The University of Tampa.  In his first professional season, Rosales posted a .248 average between rookie-level Greeneville (53 games)and short-season A Tri-City. He also notched 24 RBI with Greeneville, good for fourth on the team.  This past season in A-level Salem, he hit .283, drove in 40 runs, and scored 63 runs, third best on the team.

The highlight of Rosales's collegiate career at Tampa was his 2006 NCAA National Championship.  He also earned the honor of All-American during this 2006 season.
